My drawing of the world on the wall at work.
Drew it freehand using a map of the world as a reference and an atlas for adding a bit more detail to it. It's not completely accurate. Okay so i work at an after school club and we're open during the summer (not that i'll be there cos i'll be away in the rainforest) but the whole point of this is a "Holiday Hotspots" wall. ASo the kids draw pictures of where they're goin on holiday and the pictures are stuck around the outside of the wall then we use pins and string to connect the picture to the place. Pam had tried to photocopy and blow up a blank map but it hadn't work so i offered to draw it freehand. took me the best part of two hours to complete (two thirds of my shift) and its about 1.5 m by 1m. im rather proud of it. |
